[Introduction]
Designed for Nordic Office of Architecture, this project reinterprets the traditional Icelandic log cabin as a modern luxury escape. Set in the mountains, the villa merges bold geometry, open space, and panoramic views into a refined Nordic statement.

Project Explanation
Concept
The villa transforms the classic mountain cabin into a minimalist architectural statement. While traditional cabins are enclosed and timber-heavy, this design opens toward nature through expansive glazing and sharp, sculptural roof geometry. The sloped roof references Nordic heritage, but its execution is refined and modern.
Spatial Experience
Large glass façades and double-height spaces dissolve the boundary between inside and outside. Every primary living area is oriented toward the surrounding mountains, allowing uninterrupted views across the Icelandic landscape.
For high-end clients, luxury is defined by privacy, exclusivity, and experience. In remote locations like this, glass becomes a symbol of controlled openness — complete immersion in nature without sacrificing comfort or security.
Luxury & Location
The villa is positioned in a secluded mountain setting, offering rare views and total tranquility. Modern luxury today is less about decoration and more about space, silence, and connection to the environment. This project embodies that philosophy.
Design Process
The villa was modeled entirely from scratch in Cinema 4D (C4D), ensuring full control over form and detail. Furnishing, environmental context, and final visualization were developed in Twinmotion to create a realistic Icelandic setting and immersive atmosphere.
